Cook County Clerk David Orr encourages suburban voters to verify their polling location before heading out to vote on Tuesday.
Orr points out the importance of verifying your polling place, since 38 of 1,673 precincts in suburban Cook County have a new polling place for the April 7 Consolidated Election. One polling place in Palatine was changed just yesterday due to a quarantine.
Suburban Cook County voters were mailed a red-white-and-blue notice that included their polling place information. Households impacted by the polling place changes were also mailed a postcard informing them of their new polling place.
Voters can use the online Voter Information tool at http://cookcountyclerk.com/voterinfo. Enter your name and address to find your polling place and a Google map with directions.
