Election Day polling place locations for voters in two precincts in Schaumburg Township and one precinct in Hanover Township have been moved, Cook County Clerk David Orr announced today.
Due to fire damage at the Great Hall of Schaumburg, voters in Schaumburg Township precincts 23 and 58 will now vote at Campanelli School, located at 310 Springinsguth Road, Schaumburg.
Voters in Hanover Township precinct 19 will now vote at Poplar Creek Surgical Center, located at 1800 McDonough Road, Hoffman Estates — a closer, more convenient polling place than the old location at Elgin High School.
Every household with a registered voter in suburban Cook County will be mailed a how-to-vote brochure, which lists the voter’s polling place location. However, because the red brochure for voters living in the affected precincts will list the old polling place, these voters will receive a separate letter from the Clerk’s office alerting them of the polling place change.
Voters can also verify their polling place at the Clerk’s election website, www.voterinfonet.com.
