Cook County Clerk David Orr reminds voters in four municipalities – Berwyn, Calumet City, Dolton and Evanston – that tomorrow is Election Day. These areas are the only suburban Cook County jurisdictions holding Primary Elections on February 28.

The Clerk’s office mailed an election notice to more than 124,000 registered voters who live in jurisdictions with primary contests. Residents who are unsure if they are able to vote can use the Your Voter Information tool on our website to check a sample ballot and find their polling place.

There are 77 candidates, 1 write-in candidate, 27 contests and 3 referenda in suburban Cook County for this primary election. Voters will cast ballots at 125 precincts.

Democratic:  Berwyn Township Supervisor & Trustee; City of Berwyn Mayor, Clerk, Treasurer & Alderman (Wards 1-8); Calumet City Mayor, Clerk & Alderman (Wards 1-7); Village of Dolton Mayor, Clerk & Trustee.

Nonpartisan: City of Evanston Mayor & Alderman (Ward 5).

Polls open on Tuesday, February 28 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. Suburban Cook County voters can view precinct maps by township and find their home polling place and at cookcountyclerk.com.

Election Results: Suburban Cook County election results will be available after polls close at the Clerk’s online results page.

Media Credentials: Members of the media will not need a paper credential provided by the Clerk’s office.  However, election judges will require news reporters, photographers and TV crews to show a government-issued or company identification card. Please remember that interviews cannot be conducted inside the polling place.
