Candidate Filing Dates & Deadlines
Tuesday, September 3: First day to circulate petitions for established political party candidates
Monday, November 25 – Monday, December 2: Petition filing period for established political party candidates
Monday, December 9: Last day for filing objections to nomination papers of candidates who filed during the November 25 – December 2 filing period
- Last day to withdraw for candidates who filed for incompatible offices
Wednesday, December 11: Last day to conduct lottery for ballot placement
Thursday, January 9: Last day to file withdrawal papers with the State Board of Elections
Wednesday, January 15: Last day to file withdrawal papers with the County Clerk
Thursday, January 16: Last day to file a notarized declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate (5:00 PM)
