Judith Cohen, now known throughout the art world as Judy Chicago, earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s in Art at UCLA in the 1960s. Chicago’s feminist art has garnered international recognition. Her most famous work is "The Dinner Party," a multimedia installation that illustrates the history of women in Western Civilization. For her "Birth Project," Chicago employed needle workers around the country to explore the birth process. Other major projects by Chicago include "The Holocaust Project" and "A Stitch in Time." She is also the author of several books, including "Through the Flower: My Struggle as a Woman Artist."
